Officials in the Village of Quincy say they have been noticing lately there has been a lot of “wishcycling”, in other words non-recyclable items are being placed in the recycling containers.
Members voted unanimously in favor of switching to single-stream recycling that will allow residents to put all recyclable materials into one bin instead of three.
