Hubbard County Accepted Recycling Bids for 2024

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The Hubbard County Solid Waste Administrator reviewed recycling quotes for 2024 and announced the winning bids.

The lowest quote for electronics recycling was from Janesville, Wisconsin-based Universal Recycle Technologies, whose total estimated cost is $9,700. A big portion of the cost is for transportation. The total electronics recycling costs have witnessed significant decline in recent years, falling from $50,000 to $9,700 over the past four years. The cost of recycling too has declined, said Josh Holte, County Solid Waste Administrator. It must be noted that the County had recycled around 102 tons of electronic waste in fiscal 2022.
