In 2020, John’s son, Sean Jennings, took up the family legacy, bringing a lifetime of industry knowledge to his appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer.
The move is aimed at expanding its processing capabilities to meet growing demand. The decision to leave California marks the next phase in the company’s growth strategy.
The grants, which are for fiscal year 2026, were awarded during the Alabama Recycling Coalition’s Annual Conference and Expo, held Sept. 10-12, at the Westin Huntsville.
The additions will further strengthen IWS’s operational capacity in Connecticut and reinforce its commitment to delivering first-class service in the region.
