MONTREAL (RecyclingMonster): Reworld® announced on September 2 that it acquired Clean & Green Recycling Corporation, ClearFlo Technologies and EnviroTec, a group of environmental solutions companies based in Lindenhurst, New York.

Together, the businesses comprise the new Lindenhurst Material Processing Facility (MPF), strategically located near four Reworld Thermomechanical Treatment Facilities (TTFs) to expand waste processing, transportation and resource recovery capabilities.

Lindenhurst Facility Expands Reworld's Long Island Operations

The Lindenhurst MPF adds to Reworld's long-standing presence on Long Island and reinforces established relationships with municipalities and businesses across the area.

Acquisition Broadens Reworld Service Capabilities

Reworld said the Lindenhurst MPF will complement its existing ReDrop® wastewater-treatment, ReDirect360® zero-waste-to-landfill and ReMove waste-logistics service lines. According to the company, the operation will also support continued growth in resource recovery, recycling and reuse.
