Sanders County is hosting an e-waste recycling event Saturday, June 5 at the transfer site in Thompson Falls.

The event, which is being hosted in conjunction with the Montana Department of Environmental Quality's Dusti Johnson and 406 Recycling owner Matt Elsaesser, is free.

It will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. rain or shine and those interested may bring their used electronics for recycling, including anything with a cord, as well as cell phones.

Secure data destruction is provided by 406Recycling for all computer hard drives.
