Paudling County Announced Free Recycling Event

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The Paudling County will host a free recycling event during the coming weekend.

According to County press release, the event is scheduled to be held on Saturday, July 20th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. across from the Paulding Fairgrounds. It will accept tires, water-based paints, fluorescent bulbs and electronic waste for recycling.

The event will be restricted for Paulding County residents only. The residents must provide proof of identity such as a driving license or license plates for dropping items.

There will be a limit of 4 tires per person. There will be no size restriction. Tires on rim will also be accepted. The used tires have to be stacked in the trailer provided at the site. The paints should be water-based and there will be no limit. In case of more than one fluorescent bulbs, they must be taped together at top and bottom.

The accepted e-waste includes Desktops, Laptops, Modems/Circuit Boards, Servers/Hard Drives/Monitors, Routers/Switches, UPS Battery Backups/Printers, Cell phones/Ipads/Tablets, DVD and VCR Players, Telephone Systems/Hardware, Insulated cable, wire/Cable boxes and Video gaming systems. The items not accepted include appliances, AC units, Household batteries, tube televisions and CRT monitors.

Any item not deemed suitable and those materials dumped ahead of time may be declined, the announcement said.
