Keep El Dorado Beautiful Announced Cleanup Campaign for the Fall

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): El Dorado, AR-headquartered charitable organization, Keep El Dorado Beautiful (KEB), announced a series of ward clean-ups and community events to promote sustainable cleanup campaigns.

In its meeting held on 17th July, the members put forward plans for the upcoming weeks, with scheduled completion of ward clean-ups before end-October this year. KEB had restarted the campaign earlier this year after a halt of almost three years.

Accordingly, KEB will be responsible for co-ordinating the clean-up events and providing cash incentives for them. At least one community clean-up event will be held in each of the four wards of the city during the current year. The cash incentives, which will be provided with the help of funding from Clean Harbours, aims to boost participation in neighbourhood clean-up activities.

In between scheduled ward clean-up events, KEB will also organize pop-up clean-ups. These events will be conducted under leadership of volunteer groups with no less than 10 members, for which they will receive a cash incentive.

In addition, KEB will also hold outreach programs at the SouthArk Outdoor Expo in September and the El Dorado Christmas Parade in December. Also, it will boost ongoing efforts to increase the number of garbage and recycling bins in public places including city parks.
