MONTREAL (Recycling Monster): Registration has opened for an inter-county Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) disposal event scheduled for July 25, 2026, in Nassau. The proposed event offers residents a free and environmentally responsible way to dispose of hazardous household materials that are not generally accepted by regular garbage collection services.
The collection event will take place at the Town of Schodack Highway Garage and is available exclusively to residents of participating municipalities- Towns of Schodack, Nassau, North Greenbush, Sand Lake, Poestenkill, and Bethlehem, along with the Cities of Rensselaer and Troy.
