The subscription to Ridwell services will provide customers with pickup service for a wider range of waste items that are not included in the list of recyclables accepted by the Blue Bins. A specific scheme by the company provides small and medium-sized collection bins and bags towards collection of materials such as multi-layer plastic, batteries, lightbulbs, electronics and Styrofoam.

The three packages offered by Ridwell are titled the Classic, the Plastic Plus and the Unlimited plans, whose service charges vary from $14-$24 per month.

Ridwell collects the items and safely stores them in a warehouse, which is later transported to relevant partners company for safe and responsible recycling.

Ryan Metzger, CEO, co-founder at Ridwell noted that the members of the program will be provided with a Ridwell bin and clearly marked bags for collecting their used items. These bins and bags will be emptied once in every two weeks. The program mainly targets items that are generally not accepted by curbside recycling.
