Recycling program on hold in Green Creek Township

GREEN CREEK TOWNSHIP — Green Creek Township’s Aim to Be Green recycling program funded by the OSS SolidWaste District will be suspended as the township reviews alternate sites for the program.

The current site is where the township has bid and will have a structure created as a salt barn for road work.

Township residents can call the recycling hauler currently used by the district, Rumpke Waste and Recycling Services, to price and set up recycling services on their own as an option.

Wednesday, Oct. 19, will be the last day to drop off recyclables at the Green Creek Township location in Sandusky County.
