Nature’s Nursery to Host Electronic Recycling Drop Off Event


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Nature’s Nursery will host an electronics recycling drop off event in partnership with AIM ECycling, LLC. The drive through electronics recycling and data destruction event will be held at the Lucas County Rec Center on Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The accepted items include computers & laptops, cell phones & tablets, flat screen televisions, cords & accessories, printers, speakers, game systems and radios. On the other hand, the event will not accept items such as tube televisions, CRT/non flatscreen monitors, air conditioners, appliances, florescent bulbs, alkaline batteries and all other non-electronic items such as furniture/toy/clothing.

All data will be safely destroyed and items fully recycled. The residents are requested to enter at Key Street parking lot and look for the signs. For each car load, there will be a donation of $10 to Nature’s Nursery.

Allison Aey, Executive Director, Nature’s Nursery noted that it focuses on educating the public on wildlife conservation including preserving natural habitats and environments. Alongside, it recognizes the need to make sure that natural resources are preserved and plentiful for both wildlife and people. It is with this aim that the electronics recycling drop off event is being organized, Aey added.
