E-Waste Recycler, ERI Featured in NYC’s Innovative Educational Platform


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): ERI- the nation’s leading ITAD and e-waste recycling company has been featured in the innovative recycling education program titled “Follow Your Waste” by the New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) launched this year for school children.

The online site provides clear descriptions and a variety of interactive games and quizzes to educate school children on the importance of responsible recycling and management of common household wastes including paper, plastic, glass, metals, food waste and electronic waste.

DSNY collaborated with ERI on developing the content for the e-waste portion of the program. The company is featured in portions explaining the plight of discarded e-waste in recycling centres. It features various slides describing the step-buy-step recycling process of old electronics at ERI facilities.
