Ecowaste Solutions Expands into Northeast Arkansas with Shelton Sanitation Acquisition

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Waste and recycling company Ecowaste Solutions has expanded its regional footprint through the acquisition of Shelton Sanitation, marking its first entry into Northeast Arkansas and the growing Jonesboro metropolitan area.

Headquartered in Marmaduke, Arkansas, Shelton Sanitation serves around 10,000 customers through 14 municipal and county contracts across Greene and Clay counties. The acquisition adds 15 employees and nearly 20 collection vehicles to Ecowaste’s operations.

Shelton’s service network includes contracts with Greene County, Clay County, and cities such as Rector, Corning, Piggott, and Marmaduke. Most of the company’s multi-year municipal agreements were recently renewed during 2025 and 2026, positioning the business for future expansion in commercial front-load and industrial roll-off services.

Ecowaste Chief Executive Officer Dustin Reynolds said the acquisition strengthens the company’s presence in the Arkansas Delta and provides access to the Jonesboro metropolitan statistical area, which has a population of around 140,000 residents.

The company plans to invest in fleet modernization, automated side-load trucks, and facility upgrades at Shelton’s Marmaduke operations to support future commercial growth. The acquisition also expands Ecowaste’s regional operations across the South and Mid-South United States.
