Berkeley Heights Holds Electronics and Styrofoam Recycling on Saturday

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Electronics and #6 Styrofoam recycling is back after COVID-19! Recycling this month is taking place between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. this Saturday, July 11 at the current Berkeley Heights Public Library parking lot on Roosevelt Avenue.

Normally, it is the first Saturday of every month at the Department of Public Works, located on Berkeley Avenue, just past Town Hall on Park Avenue. But because of the holiday weekend, it will be this Saturday. For the summer, the recycling location will be in a temporarily in the current Berkeley Heights Public Library parking lot on Roosevelt Avenue, across from the Fire Department.

We have now expanded our recycling efforts to include white goods, as listed below. Please be sure to get there early, as recycling day is normally busy with residents wanting to clean house, especially since we’ve all been quarantined for months!
