The City of Salida is partnering with the Salida Business Alliance, Salida Chamber of Commerce, and Sustainable Salida to host an electronics recycling Earth Day Event this Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm at Marvin Park in Salida.
There will be a $25 fee per television. All other items are free to drop off.
Not being accepted are household chemicals, paint, propane bottles, light bulbs smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and general household trash.
When you reach the recycling trailer, please remain in your vehicle. Volunteers will remove the electronics from your vehicle.
The Greater Arkansas River Nature Association is looking for help with this weekend’s recycling event.
Volunteers are needed at Marvin Park this Saturday between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm.
