Parker Rotary Club to Host Annual Paint and Electronics Recycling Event June 6


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The Cherry Creek Valley Rotary Club of Parker’s annual community recycling eventwill be held on June 6, 2026. The event will provide an opportunity to Parker, Colorado residents to safely recycle items such as unwanted paint, electronics, and small appliances.

The one-day event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the north parking lot of Legend High School. The Rotary Club has partnered with GreenSheen Paint and 3R Electronics to provide recycling services.

The organizers expect nearly 2,000 participants for the event. In order to ensure smooth operations, residents are encouraged to pre-register for a time slot.

Accepted paint items include latex and oil-based paints, primers, varnishes, lacquers, and waterproofing sealers in containers of five gallons or less. On the contrary, spray paints, solvents, adhesives, and drywall mud will not be accepted.

Electronic waste accepted includes computers, phones, printers, monitors, gaming consoles, routers, and other devices. Small appliances such as blenders and toasters will also be accepted. There will be a $30 fee for TVs and CRT monitors. Recycling will be free for all other items.

Proceeds from voluntary donations will support local scholarships and nonprofit programs.

The event held last year had diverted 67,900 pounds of e-waste and over 105,000 pounds of paint products from landfills.
