SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The new 50,000-square-foot Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) in Kilgore, East Texas, has opened, according to Northeast Texas Regional MRF. Both residences and businesses will be served by the facility.
By processing commercial cardboard and residential and commercial single-stream recyclables, the new plant will facilitate recycling for the local population. By lowering landfill waste and supporting the area's environmental initiatives, it will be crucial.

With its state-of-the-art sorting machinery, the facility can process a variety of commodities, such as cardboard, plastics, paper, and metal. Using the newest technologies will significantly reduce pollution while also increasing recycling efficiency. Furthermore, the enclosed area eliminates environmental pollutants by guaranteeing safe and hygienic operations.
Todd Lucas, general manager of NETX, commented on the development, saying that the new recycling facility's launch would greatly boost the local economy. He stated that the MRF will continue to promote sustainability in Northeast Texas while managing increasing flows.
This summer, NETX will have an open house during which the public will have the chance to tour the facility and learn more.
