Georgia-Pacific Recycling and Waste Connections Extend Recycling Partnership


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Georgia-Pacific Recycling and Waste Connections, Inc. affiliates announced a multi-year extension of their Recyclable Material Master Purchase Agreement. This will lead to boost in circularity of recyclable commodities through collection and reuse.

The extension of agreement between the two industry leaders will help to ensure a steady supply of quality recyclable materials that will be used in the manufacture of new products and packaging, thus reducing the requirement for virgin materials. Furthermore, it will facilitate reuse of recyclables to manufacture new products.

Ray Oge, VP – sales and trading for Georgia-Pacific Recycling noted that the extension of the partnership is a testament to its success till date. The company is excited to boost the collection and reuse of recyclables in such a way that it will create value for Waste Connections, its customers as well as customers of Georgia-Pacific Recycling for several years to come.
