SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Residents of Cumberland County can safely dispose of old electronics during a free recycling event on December 6, 2025, hosted by the Cumberland County Solid Waste Management team. The drive will take place at the Ann Street Landfill (698 Ann St.) from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and no pre-registration is needed.
Participants can drop off laptops, printers, televisions, phones, computers, and gaming consoles. Recycling electronics helps prevent toxic materials from polluting landfills, conserves space, and lowers environmental impact, including greenhouse gas emissions.
