City of Grand Junction to Kick Off New Recycling System

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The City of Grand Junction Recycling Division has announced switch to new recycling system. The new dual-stream curbside recycling program is set to commence in March this year. This is phased in for specific areas of the City, said the announcement.

The new system will automate the recycling pickup, offering trash pickup on the same day. It provides an opportunity for residents to lower their bill by reducing their trash waste and increasing their recycling waste. The prices will depend on the size of trash bin and will be as follows- $11.50 per month for 48-gallon trash bin, $15.75 per month for 64-gallon bin and $25 per month for 96-gallon bin.
