Cheyenne Announced Memorial Day Trash and Recycling Schedule


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The City of Cheyenne announced its trash and recycling schedule for Memorial Day on 29th May, Monday.

The areas which are covered by Monday trash and recycle pickup schedule will receive the service on Saturday, May 27th. The City press release noted that residents are required to have their trash and recycling containers outside by 6 ‘o clock in the morning.

The Solid Waste Transfer Station & Office at 220 N. College Drive, the Compost Facility at 3714 Windmill Road and Happy Jack Landfill at 1416 Happy Jack Road will remain closed on the occasion and will reopen Tuesday, May 30th. Meantime, Household Hazardous Waste at 220 N. College Drive will remain closed on both Monday and Tuesday and will reopen only on Wednesday, May 31st.

It must be noted that the City of Cheyenne provides bi-weekly recycling services to all city residents. The items allowed for recycling are paper products, brown paper bags, clean cardboard, cereal boxes, aluminum foils, tin cans, plastic containers and glass food and beverage containers.
