Casper curbside recycling provides recycling resource with city depots closed

RecyclingMonster - Brad and Heather Adels are a Casper grown couple that saw a need for curbside recycling in the community and created Casper Curbside Recycling.

“There’s a lot of people who want to recycle and either they’re not able to get out there or physically not able to do it. They might not have time or want to fight the weather at the depots,” Heather said.

She added they can pick up in residential areas or for businesses. And some of their customers find their service convenient because they don’t have to use company time to get rid of recyclable materials.
Since the city recycling depots are closed due to recommendations by the CDC, their business has increased.

“As far as residential customers. It’s fun to meet new people and get them going and to be able to get their items recycled,” Heather said.
Heather is a part-time nurse and Brad is a firefighter. “One thing Brad and I always say is we don’t love any downtime,” Heather said.

She added that all of the hard work that requires working another job, raising a family and operating a safe, reliable business is rewarding.
