Utah Renewed 5-Year Electronics Recycling Contract with ATR

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): For the second time in a row, the State of Utah has granted a 5-year statewide electronics recycling contract to Advanced Technology Recycling (ATR), a Pontiac, Illinois-based supplier of e-waste recycling and IT asset disposal (ITAD) services.

As a result, the business will provide its services for secure data destruction and electronics recycling to all state departments, agencies, institutions, and political subdivisions. The recently extended agreement will remain in force until May 2029.

The State of Utah's Evaluation Committee uses a strict, multi-phase scoring methodology before awarding the contract. The business received the highest overall score in every category that was assessed.

According to the State's competitive scoring mechanism, ATR received the highest score. In the cost analysis, the business performed far better than the other two eligible providers. It kept up its strong performance in other domains, such as logistics, regulatory performance, compliance, and service capabilities.

"We are honored to renew our partnership with the State of Utah and are excited to expand our services to both local government and private sector clients throughout the region," said Pete Swavely, National Business Development Manager at ATR.
