SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Sunnking announced that it will hold a free e-waste recycling collection event on 5th August, 2023 at East Syracuse, NY. The event will be held at East Syracuse Minoa Central High School, 6400 Freemont Road, East Syracuse, NY 13057 from 8.30 AM to 2 PM. Also a similar event will be held at Xerox Corporation, Panama Rd (Bldg.147), Webster, NY 14580 on 19th August from 8.30 AM to 2 PM.
For entry to both the above events, residents will need to register for a dedicated 15-minute drop-off appointment window at the company website.
The acceptable electronics for recycling include computers and accessories, mobile devices, office equipment, data center equipment, entertainment equipment, lab & medical equipment and cable equipment.
The unacceptable items include devices containing mercury, household hazardous waste, devices containing refrigerants, materials containing liquid, radioactive materials, devices containing PCBs, gas powered equipment, large appliances, common household batteries, medical sharps, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, and cassette tapes and broken/bare CRT (tube) televisions or monitors.
Those who cannot attend the events are encouraged to use Sunnking’s free year-round partner drop-off collection sites.
