SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): SK Innovation Co. announced that its affiliates will showcase its battery, plastic recycling technologies and its sustainable range of products made using these technologies at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) - the international consumer electronics event to be held at Las Vegas, USA from 5th to 8th, January 2023.

According to the announcement, SK On, the battery-manufacturing affiliate of the company will showcase its innovative product named E556- the high-nickel Super Fast (SF) Battery used in electric vehicles. The battery, with 83% nickel content, is capable of covering more than 400 kilometres on a single charge. It takes only 18 minutes to recharge the SF battery to up to 80%.

Another affiliate, SK IE Technology Co. (SKIET), will showcase its Flexible Cover Window, which can be used as a replacement for glass on flexible displays. Also, it will display its lithium-ion battery separator used in EV batteries.

SK Geocentric will feature uni-directional tape (UD tape), made using thermoplastic resin saturated with fiber, which is considered an alternative for auto components. The company will also provide additional details on construction of plastic recycling cluster in South Korea.
