Rumpke Wins Platinum U.S. Best Managed Company Honor for Seventh Straight Year


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Rumpke Waste & Recycling just earned the Platinum 2026 U.S. Best Managed Company award—making it seven years in a row. That’s a big deal in the world of private companies, especially since the program comes from Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal. Platinum status isn’t handed out easily; you only get it if you’ve held thto is honor for seven years or longer.

This year, judges looked for companies that kept moving forward, even with all the economic curveballs. Rumpke stood out by investing in digital upgrades like artificial intelligence and modernizing how things run behind the scenes.

President and CEO Bill Rumpke Jr. pointed to the company’s people and its collaborative work environment as the real drivers behind the award. “This achievement belongs to everyone working at Rumpke. Our employees work together as one team, prioritize safety, compliance, customer service, and continuously innovate to strengthen our company,” he said.

This year’s honorees all showed they could withstand economic ups and downs and still invest in their future—especially by embracing new technology like artificial intelligence and modernizing operations.

Marlow Campos, who leads Deloitte’s U.S. Best Managed Companies Program, had high praise for the winners, saying Platinum and Gold honorees set the standard for strong governance, adaptability, and forward thinking.
