Rogue Disposal allowing mixed-waste paper recycling

MEDFORD, Ore. — Rogue Disposal and Recycling shares that they now allow mixed waste paper items in curbside recycling bins. Paper-based household items like paper, egg cartons, shoe boxes, file folders and cereal boxes can be recycled.

The company shares in a release that the change comes because many waste haulers across southern Oregon will soon accept mixed waste.

That, along with a stable recycling market, allows Rogue Disposal and Recycling to broaden the items customers can put in their bins for recycling.

Other examples of mixed waste paper include various paper products found in homes and workplaces, such as junk mail, paperboard packaging, envelopes, magazines, and more.

Some paper items still can't go in your recycling cart, like candy wrappers, food-contaminated paper, and plastic wrap.
