RMR Opened New Recycling Plant in Olive Branch


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Recycling Management Resources (RMR) announced opening of its new recycling plant in Olive Branch. This is the company’s tenth recycling facility.

The plant, located at 10745 Marine Drive, sits over 103,000 square feet of working space and has 12 loading docks. It will mainly serve Memphis area. The recycling plant features state-of-the-art equipment including baler, shredding and shearing equipment. The plant is equipped to accommodate 53-ft dry van trailers, compactors, open top dumpsters, front-load trucks, rear-load trucks, mobile shredding trucks and single-weigh capabilities. The plant enjoys easy rail and port access.

Upon full ramp up of the facility, it will be capable of handling thousands of tons of recyclable fiber, thus diverting them from landfills.

Brett Lurie, President of RMR noted that the company is pleased to announce the opening of its new plant in Olive Branch. It is excited to join the Memphis market, filling the growing need for manufacturers and businesses in the area, he added. Incidentally, the plant is expected to create around 30 new jobs in the region.

RMR’s other plant locations are Atlanta, Barrington, Barton, High Point, Liousville, Raleigh, Richmond and Wilmington.
