Regenx Opens Tennessee Precious Metals Recycling Facility


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Alberta-headquartered Regenx Tech Corp., announced opening of its first clean tech facility in Tennessee that aims to recover precious metals from end of life products.

According to company press release, it received the occupancy permit for its first facility in Greeneville, Tennessee last week. The receipt of the permitting will enable the company to go ahead with the commissioning of Module 1 of the project. The commissioning process comprises of testing of components and processing smaller batches. The phase will take almost three months to complete and reach full capacity.

The recycling plant will use Regenx’s proprietary technology, which promises sustainable recovery of precious metals including platinum and palladium from recycled diesel catalytic converters. The company is excited to complete the commissioning phase and expand itself into a four Module facility, noted Greg Pendura, CEO, Regenx.

Jeffrey Taylor, President & CEO of Greene County Partnership stated that it is excited about the prospects of the operation. He assured all possible support and assistance from the city of Greeneville and the State of Tennessee in the future growth of the plant.

Regenx has partnered with Davis Recycling for recovering precious metals from diesel catalytic converters.
