SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The Bradford County Regional Arts Council (BCRAC), in partnership with Horseheads, New York-based Recycling Electronics and Computer Technologies (REACT) E-Cycling Inc., will host electronics recycling drive in Sayre. The event is scheduled to take place behind the Sayre Theatre on Chacona Lane on Thursday, Aug. 17 9 AM.

The event will accept computers & accessories, data center equipment, office equipment, mobile devices, entertainment equipment, lab & medical equipment, cable equipment and miscellaneous equipment such as small home appliances, GPS units, wires & cables, fitness trackers and smart watches. Meantime, refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, tube TVs, CRTVs, CRTV monitors and Christmas lights are not allowed.

Items other than those listed will be accepted for a fee of $10.00. Although there is no set amount for dropping off electronic items, the event will accept contributions of any amount. The funds raised during the event will go directly to BCRAC, which in turn will be utilized for various initiatives. The collected electronics will be dismantled and recycled in a responsible manner.
