SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Guido’s Recycling Center will open next week in Paradise. The recycling center will function at the old location of Paradise’s previous recycling center, starting 1st March, Wednesday. The new center will remain open from Wednesday to Saturday from 9AM to 4PM.
The people from Paradise had to commute a long distance to recycle to Guido’s Gridley location. The company has been receiving constant requests from people to open a recycling center at a more convenient location. Consequently, it put up an inquiry with the City of Paradise. The City responded positively, thus resulting in the opening of the new facility, said Karen Blanco of Guido’s Recycling.
According to Blanco, the decision to make use of the location of Paradise’s previous recycling center at 920, American Way, was mainly because of its large space to work with. Having ample space would help them better serve the customers. Also, it makes it easier for customers as they don’t have to wait longer for dropping their recyclables.
The people of Paradise welcomed the opening of the new recycling center. They said they are excited about the news and that they will frequently visit the place with recyclables, in order to ensure that the establishment keeps going.
