SEATTLE (Recycling Monster):  Momentum Environmental, LLC announced that it has acquired some of the assets of American Recyclers Co., Genesee Soil Recycling, and The Environmental Service Group, collectively referred to as ESG. Since 2024, this is the company's third acquisition.

Momentum will greatly increase its operational presence and capabilities in the Western New York region with the aid of the aforementioned acquisition. It will enable the business to better service its New York-based commercial and industrial clients. It also fits with the business's previously mentioned plan to expand in adjacent regions.

Following the acquisition, Momentum Environmental now maintains five branch sites in Bath, Lancaster, Rochester, Syracuse, and Tonawanda in addition to operating three waste processing facilities that have been granted permits by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC).

ESG President Nicholas Halliday will now be Momentum Environmental's Senior Vice President.

According to Halliday, the collaboration with Momentum will enable ESG to provide more than previously possible. According to him, the merged company would provide its clients with a more comprehensive and integrated environmental services experience while providing significant value.
