SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Liberty Tire Recycling has released its 2025 Sustainability Report alongside its first public Climate Risk & Resilience Report, highlighting stronger recycling performance, lower emissions and steady business growth.
The reports show measurable progress in operational efficiency and circularity while reinforcing the company’s long-term sustainability strategy. CEO Thomas Womble said sustainability remains central to Liberty’s operations and its partnerships with manufacturers, retailers and communities.
In 2025, Liberty earned an EcoVadis Bronze rating, placing it among the top third of assessed companies, and also received recognition through the Recircle Award for Circular Economy Innovation.

The company reported significant environmental improvements, including a 6% reduction in location-based Scope 2 emissions, a 10% drop in market-based emissions and an 8% improvement in energy intensity through better fuel and resource management.
Liberty maintained an 81% beneficial reuse rate across 219 million tires collected during the year.
Workplace and community initiatives also improved, with an 11% reduction in Lost Time Injury Rate, a 9% decline in employee turnover and more than $216,000 donated to charitable causes.
