SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Liberty Tire Recycling, a leading provider of tire recycling services, announced the release of their 2024 Sustainability Report, which highlights the company's several sustainability accomplishments over the previous 12 months.
The report claims that over 4.7 billion pounds of rubber were recovered and over 215 million tires that were nearing the end of their useful lives were gathered. Innovative, high-value recycled items were made using this.

Compared to the previous year, the company's greenhouse gas emissions decreased by 1.5%. The end-market utilization rate increased from 2023 to 81.1%, a 2.7% increase. In compared to 2023, it demonstrated exceptional safety performance in 2024, improving the Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) by 23.87% and the Preventable Vehicle Accident Rate (PVAR) by 29.25%.
Liberty Tire Recycling also finished more than 75 community projects and gave more than $150,000 to organizations.
As the only tire recycling company in North America to release a sustainability report, the company has set a precedent for transparency in the whole sector, according to Amy Brackin, Senior Vice President of Sustainability, who commented on the accomplishments. He noted that the report details the company's progress in responsible growth over the previous 12 months.
