SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) announced appointment of new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to its top leadership team.

According to company press release, Matt Spencer will be the company’s new CEO with effect from 12th September, 2023. He will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of LRS’s operations. Prior to joining LRS, Spencer has served as the CEO of Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) and COO of Waste Corporation of America (WCA). 

On his appointment, Spencer noted that he is honoured to join LRS and that he looks forward to lead the organization with an employee-first mindset, contributing to a more sustainable future.

Also, Luke Chenery will be the new CFO, who will be responsible for enhancing the company’s financial performance. In addition, he will make use of his strong leadership skills and broad expertise to ensure the organization’s long-term growth by optimizing operational efficiencies.

Paul Mitchener, Chairman of the LRS Board said that the Board is delighted to welcome Matt and Luke. LRS looks forward to work closely with them to attain its strategic goals and drive sustainable growth, he added.
