Lakeshore Recycling Systems Announced Key Acquisitions


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): U.S. Midwest recycling service provider, Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) announced acquisition of Environmental Recycling & Disposal and Moen Transfer Station. The acquisitions will further expand LRS’s operations in Midwest and other regions where it operates and are effective immediately. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Environmental has been offering reliable recycling services throughout Chicago's Southwest Suburbs since 1998. The company, one of the leading haulers in Chicagoland, enjoys ten existing municipal contracts. The acquisition will add approximately 30,000 residential customers and 4,200 business customers to LRS’s client base. The state-of-the-art Moen Transfer Station was opened in 2020.
