The Kandiyohi County Recycling Center announced last week, in a news release from the county, that it would be discontinuing curbside recycling pick up, as well as shed collection pickups . The service was stopped as of March 20 and will not resume until further notice, in response to COVID-19 pandemic.
The county asks that residents not drop any material off at any sites as the sites will not be serviced. Road barriers have been placed at the entrance to the recycling center in southwest Willmar, and the collection bins have been removed.
