Hercules Announced Construction of New Oil and Tire Recycling Plant

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Leading manufacturing company, Hercules, announced that it has made a final decision to construct an oil and tire recycling plant at the Sandiara Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Senegal. The proposed plant will employ state-of-the-art technology to transform motor oil and tires into automotive lubricants and carbon black powder.

The Sandiara facility comprises of three plants- a lubricant mixing facility, a tire to carbon black powder transformation plant and an aluminum alloy plant. The aluminum recycling products from the facility are sold to Toyota, while the company markets tire and goods recovered from oil entirely within the country.

Manoj Solanki, Founder of Hercules stated that the company hopes to establish Senegal as a base for exporting to neighboring countries. It looks forward to explore and tap the vast marketing opportunities in countries such as Burkina Faso, Mali and The Gambia, where it intends to significantly expand its presence, Solanki added.

The lack of own lubricant manufacturing industry in Senegal coupled with expensive freight rates prompted the company to establish the recycling plant. The project also received full-hearted support from Serigne Gueye Diop, Mayor of Senegal.
