SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Central Wisconsin Habitat for Humanity announced that it will host a fundraising electronic waste recycling event. The proceeds from the event will be used to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build safe, affordable homes in the community.
The recycling event will be held on September 6th: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM at 1800 Plover Road, Plover (Old Younkers Parking Lot). The cost per vehicle will be $20. Also, there will be a limit of 15 items per vehicle.

The event will accept a wide range of items including TVs (CRT and Flat Screen), Laptops, Desktops, Servers, Phones, Tablets, E-Readers, Printers, Keyboards, Mice, Game Consoles, DVD/VCR Players, Stereo Equipment, Speakers and many more. However, large appliances, Freon-containing devices, loose batteries, lamps, bulbs, medical waste, hazardous waste, liquids, vape pens, and smoke detectors will not be accepted.
Ashley Netzer, President, Central Wisconsin Habitat for Humanity urged all residents to support the fundraiser event and expressed the hope that it will be of great benefit to the community.
The event is being held in collaboration with E-Cycle Wisconsin program and O’so Brewing Company.
