SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): At the Colter Bay Campground, Grand Teton National Park has installed a new recycling station to collect trash and garbage from park visitors. The Grand Teton Lodge Company, TerraCycle, and Keep America Beautiful all contributed to the station's setup, which was made possible by a National Park Foundation grant. The park's recently installed recycling system should offer more convenient and intelligent ways to dispose of waste.
The recycling station is 20 feet long and takes a range of commodities, such as cardboard waste, glass, aluminum cans, and plastic bottles. There are twelve prominently marked spots for guests to dispose of their recyclables.

Aluminum cans, glass bottles, and cardboard materials gathered by the new station will be recycled by the Grand Teton National Park municipal recycling service.
In addition, the station has places set aside for difficult-to-recycle materials including rigid and flexible plastic packaging, as well as snack and candy wrappers. TerraCycle will pick up and recycle these materials.
Additionally, there are three designated containers for the proper disposal of used fishing line close to fishing access points. Additionally, thirty new cigarette butt recycling containers have been introduced to Grand Teton National Park. It should be mentioned that one of the main causes of litter in the park has been cigarette butts.
