ERI Joined Hands with Allen County to Host Electronics Recycling Collection Event

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): ERI- the leading U.S. electronics recycler and hardware destruction company has partnered with the Allen County Department of Environmental Management (ACDEM) to offer an electronics recycling collection event for residents to dispose of their unwanted and old electronic items.

The event will take place at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum parking lot located at 4000 Parnell Avenue on June 24th 9AM to 12 Noon. Residents will be allowed to drop up to five electronic items for a nominal charge of five dollars. However, there will be a limit of two televisions per vehicle. The payment will be accepted as cash or check only.

The accepted items include televisions, cell phones, cameras, CDs, cords, DVDs, keyboards, laptops, monitors, printers, radios, VCRs, and tablets.

The electronics recycling event is a purely residential program and is not open to businesses or non-profits.

Commenting on the event, John Shegerian, Chairman and CEO of ERI noted that it is an honor for the company to partner with its friends at ACDEM to benefit local residents. The collection event will prevent unwanted electronics from ending up in landfills and provide a convenient way for residents to de-clutter, he added.

Over the past two decades, ACDEM has helped Allen County residents recycle nearly 4,000 tons of electronics.
