ERI Brings Free E-Waste Recycling Events to Washburn and Douglas Counties


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): ERI- the nation’s largest ITAD company and electronics recycler announced that it will provide residents of Washburn and Douglas counties to dispose of their unwanted or old electronic items for safe and responsible recycling. It will host a free e-waste collection event in each county.

The Washburn County event is scheduled to be held at Washburn County Fairground, 8000 West Beaverbrook Avenue, Spooner, WI 54801 on Saturday October 7th from 9 AM to 1 PM. The Douglas County event will be held at Head of the Lakes Fairgrounds, 4700 Tower Avenue, Superior, WI 54880 on Sunday, October 8th from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Both the events will collect all types of residential electronic items including computer equipment, televisions, mobile devices and other electronics that contain batteries or electrical cords. However, large household appliances are not permitted.

ERI will ensure that all personal data on electronic items are securely destroyed and the items are responsibly recycled.

John Shegerian, Chairman and CEO of ERI stated that it is an honour for the company to bring responsible recycling of electronics to its friends in Washburn County, Douglas County and the surrounding areas. The events will provide a convenient way for people to get rid of their electronic waste. At the same time, it will prevent unwanted electronics from ending up in landfills, he added.
