SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Erema Group and Linder Holding have joined hands to create a new benchmark in plastic recycling. The two companies have jointly founded BLUEONE Solutions- a holding company that will utilize the expertise of both the companies to promote research projects towards creation of innovative industry standards in plastics recycling.

The collaboration will focus on fine tuning the individual recycling steps during recycling process in order to enhance quality of recyclates in an energy-efficient manner. The joint research activities will ensure significant value addition by optimising the various processes, said the press release.

It must be noted that the two companies have earlier collaborated on pilot projects at the LIT Factory at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz. Both Erema and Linder have been working with a common vision to tackle challenges and drive forward plastic recycling, which ultimately has led to the formation of BLUEONE Solutions.

The holding company will leverage the vast expertise of Linder in processing waste streams and washing, along with Erema’s technical knowhow in extruding and filtering towards further development of plastic recycling.
