Edmonds College to Host Electronics Recycling, Paper Shredding Event

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Edmonds College will host a free electronics recycling and paper shredding event at its parking lots E and F on Saturday, 18th March, 2023. The event will be open to public from 9AM to 12 Noon.

The residents are requested to enter through the campus entrance of 68th Avenue West and 200th Street. SW. Necessary signs will be posted to ensure easy and convenient drop-off of materials.

Most of the electronic items such as computers, laptops, monitors, TVs, and cellphones could be recycled for free. However, there will be a nominal fee applicable to certain electronic items such as washers, dryers, VCRs, and printers. Meantime, the event will not accept plastic foam materials.

In addition to electronics recycling, the event will offer paper and document shredding stations, where residents can get their boxes of paper shredded. There will be a limit of four file boxes per person.

The event is being held under the sponsorship of the Edmonds College Green Team- the team that engages and empowers students, faculty, and staff to adopt healthy, sustainable practices, E-Waste, LLC- the company that provides e-waste recycling and shredding services, and the City of Lynnwood.
