SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Ecowaste Solutions has expanded its footprint in Georgia with the acquisition of Taylor Waste Services, a family-owned waste hauler based in Cairo. The transaction marks Ecowaste’s second acquisition in the state and its 13th since the company’s merger.

Taylor Waste has served Grady County and surrounding South Georgia communities for more than two decades. The company operates 12 daily routes, serving about 4,500 commercial customers, three municipalities and nearly 1,000 subscription accounts.

Following the acquisition, Ecowaste plans to consolidate its Decatur County operations with Taylor Waste. The transition of service to Ecowaste has already begiun, effective Monday, September 21, 2026. According to Chris Taylor, owner of Taylor Waste, the company’s drivers will remain with Ecowaste during the transition.

The acquisition also supports Ecowaste’s expansion across South Georgia, North Florida and Southwest Georgia. It must be noted that the company is currently investing in a new advanced Cairo facility. Also, it plans to deploy an AI-equipped fleet designed to improve routing and enhance safety operations.

As part of its expansion strategy, Ecowaste acquired Adams Sanitation, in April 2026, establishing its presence in Georgia. Later in the year, it purchased MDI Enterprises’ waste operations across Alabama, Florida and Mississippi.
