Clean Harbors Delivers Strong Q4, Robust 2026 Guidance


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Clean Harbors posted strong fourth-quarter results, with revenue rising 4.8% year over year to $1.50 billion. Full-year 2024 revenue increased 2.4% to $6.03 billion.

Q4 net income climbed 3.1% to $86.6 million, while full-year net income slipped 2.8% to $391 million.

The company generated record adjusted free cash flow of $509.3 million in 2025, meeting or exceeding previously announced financial guidance targets.

The Environmental Services segment delivered a 6% sequential revenue increase, supported by a 13% jump in field services revenue, including $30 million from emergency response activity. Clean Harbors handled approximately 22,000 emergency events during the year, up 5% annually. Executives noted improving industrial demand toward the end of Q4.

Safety-Kleen Sustainability Solutions continued its turnaround despite lower revenue, reporting improved adjusted EBITDA in Q4 due to disciplined re-refining spread management. Incinerator utilization reached 87%, excluding the Kimball facility, which is ramping up capacity.

For the current year, Clean Harbors projects adjusted EBITDA between $1.20 billion and $1.26 billion and adjusted net income of $410 million to $461 million, supported by PFAS growth and remediation opportunities.
