SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Cirba Solutions announced that it has expanded collaboration with Call2Recycle- the nation’s premier battery collection, logistics, and recycling program.

As part of expansion of the strategic alliance, Cirba Solutions will now serve as the strategic partner of the non-profit in processing post-consumer lithium-ion batteries, which are commonly found in items such as cell phones, laptops, tablets, power tools and other household items.

Under the agreement, Cirba Solutions will process consumer lithium-ion batteries collected by Call2Recycle from across the nation. Furthermore, it will lead efforts to separate critical materials from batteries to be placed back into the battery supply chain. Meantime, Call2Recycle will provide their expertise to ensure enhanced gathering and collection of used batteries.

David Klanecky, President & CEO, Cirba Solutions noted that the company has been in collaboration with Call2Recycle for nearly a decade. The expanded partnership aims to provide communities with safe and responsible ways of recycling their batteries, he added. Meantime, Leo Raudys, CEO and President of Call2Recycle stated that Cirba Solutions has been a key strategic partner, offering innovative solutions.
