The Camden Central School District comprises of McConnellsville and Camden elementary schools as well as the Camden middle and high schools, serving approximately 2,500 students.

The active involvement and usage of the authority’s school recycling program and resources made the district the winner. During the current school year, it has requested recycling boxes and posters, recycling presentations and assemblies, and a tour of the authority’s recycling center, said Eileen Brinck, the Authority’s Recycling Coordinator. Furthermore, Brinck attended a Camden High School Science Club meeting which explored new ways for students to get more engaged with recycling and waste reduction.

The Authority appreciated the efforts of Camden School District and praised the enthusiasm shown by the faculty and staff members.
