The Dump Day collection will be limited to tires and mattresses. No business waste will be accepted. There will be a limit of maximum 9 per load for passenger car and light truck tires. Also, only 6 mattresses per load will be permitted.

The event will support the Department’s efforts to keep California highways and waterways litter-free, by preventing trash from reaching its roads and waterways. It must be noted that trash has been plaguing California’s streets, highways and waterways for several decades now. The new initiative will not only remove litter, but will also beautify California and create hundreds of new jobs.
