SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The Beaufort County will host two free electronics recycling collection events for its residents this Saturday. The collection event will be held at Public Works sites.
According to the announcement by the Beaufort County Department of Solid Waste and Recycling, the events will be held from 9AM to 3PM on Saturday, 10th December, 2022. Only County residents will be allowed to drop off their old electronics. Residents are advised to stay in their car, while staff unloads the items.

The events are scheduled to be held in two locations simultaneously. Residents can bring their used electronics either to Beaufort County Public Works, 9 Benton Field Road, Bluffton or Beaufort County Public Works, 140 Shanklin Road, Beaufort, said the official press release.
The accepted items during the event includes personal computers, laptops, CRT monitors, LCD monitors, CRT televisions, non-CRT televisions, printers and hard drives. Also, miscellaneous electronic items such as microwaves, lamps, cell phones, radios, typewriters and fax machines will also be accepted.
